- Behavior disorder is a disorder that is based on one's behavior discovers the emotional problem or physical problem that creates interpersonal and social problems. This disorder is common to children and adolescents.
The symptoms of behavior disorder is harming or threatening others, causing fear to arise from others, having difficulties with concentration, stealing objects, and being intimidated easily by others. The cause for this disorder is adolescent trying to show one's power to others, and children who was deeply stressed in the past. The treatments for behavior disorder vary: medication, and meetings with psychiatrist. With medication, the child would be recovering from behavior disorder easily however the medication is not highly recommended because taking medication is not a good thing for oneself, for drug addiction could lead to other disorders and it might threaten the mental mind of oneself. Clinic, meeting with a psychiatrist, is highly recommended because the psychiatrist helps the child or the adolescent to go over the disorder by numerous ways, such as art cure, the concentration testing with objects familiar with the patient and so on.

Charlie Fineman, the protagonist in the movie Reign over me, shows parts of schizophrenia, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) traits. Charlie lost his wife and three daughters by the 9/11 accident. He went through a huge breakdown in emotion, and behavior, withdrawing from reality, refusing to talk to others about the accident, like the schizophrenia trait. Charlie does show schizophrenia traits, but the major disorder is the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a disorder caused by a psychologically shocking events, such as a friend or a family's death or illness, leading them to start denying the reality and seeing everyone as his wife and three daughters. The part where Charlie starts to talk about his family to the other man was a sign of healing because revealing the tragic event of one's life to another, asking for help and sharing the story means the person is opening one's mind, trying to get over the disorder.

There are various treatments for this disorder, however, the recommended treatment, as a friend of Charlie, is exposure therapy. Exposure therapy is continuously talking to a therapist about the tragic memory and getting used to it, controlling one's thoughts and feelings about that certain memory. It would be difficult for the first time because controlling the thoughts and feeling about a tragic memory that has been disturbing the person for a certain time would not be easily done. Talking to a place where the patient feels safe and secured helps this method to show its' effect quickly. For this treatment, the therapist might ask the patient to talk about all the bad and tragic memories one has at once, helping the patient to not feel overwhelmed about the memory; this is referred as flooding. Another part is that the therapist would ask a memory that is less tragic than the memory one is struggling with, desensitizing the patient before talking about the worse memory the patient has. Breathing exercise helps this treatment to be affective. Being the friend of Charlie, I would talk about my worst memory to him as he talks about his, making him understand that everybody has a worse memory at least once in his or her lifetime and that with receiving the help from others, it is easy to actually go over the disorder. Giving him advice and taking him to other places to make him enjoy his life fully would be another thing a friend of Charlie would do.

In conclusion, Charlie Fineman has a trait of schizophrenia and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Discussing about the tragic memory to a therapist and to a friend, creating a unity with each other, helping Charie to get over the memory. In this world, there are numerous people who have a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Reaching out one's hand to them is not a hard thing to do and additionally it helps them to be free from the most tragic memory they have. Helping Charlie Fineman go over his disorder is just an example of what people should be doing to the ones who has PTSD; helping them to get through it, making them enjoy the life they live and comforting him from all the fears one has been suffering from.
